25 Weeks & 27 candles :)

25 weeks & 27 candles... on September 7th, one day after I turned 25 weeks, I celebrated my 27th birthday! My last birthday before I meet my baby boy :) Jordan had my family over for dinner the night of my birthday, it was very low key, filled with yummy food & lots of laughs. We also go tp'd that night, while we were sitting in the kitchen lol Haven't had that happen since high school we still don't know who did it, but it was a good laugh. Jordan got me a prenatal massage & I can't wait to go get it! :)

Daddy reading "Guess How Much I Love You" to our little man. Melts my heart every time.
Woke up the morning of my birthday, opened the cupboard to get some cereal & found this sweet birthday note from my wonderful hubby, written on our chalkboard! He is the sweetest! Love little surprises like that! :)
My apple cobbler bday "cake" made by my Momma :)
Making a wish & blowing out my candles :)
A picture of the tp'ing! lol Whoever it was came right up to our porch!
I ended my birthday evening with my two favorite boys :) I felt so very blessed as I laid my head down to sleep that night. Looking forward to all this next year has in store! (My super cute hubby even went & got decorations to put up!) There is also a shot of my bump in there! I will take a better one tomorrow I promise :)
The love of my life. My best friend. My soul mate. Couldn't ask for a more amazing man to share my life with.

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: I'm assuming the same as last week lol
Maternity clothes? Still wearing most of my old clothes, except for shorts & capri's.
Stretch marks? Not yet.
Sleep: My favorite.
Best moment this week: Celebrating my birthday :)
Miss Anything? Getting comfortable when I go to sleep at night.
Movement: All the time, it's fun to see him moving from the outside, or when his head is right in the middle of my stomach & we can see a big lump there.
Food cravings: Still fruit - I eat an apple a day, sometimes more!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still just when I wait too long to eat.
Gender:  Boy.
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: I figured I should add a symptoms line, that way I can remember how I was feeling that week. The round ligament pain comes & goes sometimes, leg cramps anytime I try to stretch in bed. And worst of all - HEARTBURN. It went away in the beginning, but it is back with a vengeance & it doesn't matter what I eat.
Belly Button in or out? Definitely getting more shallow.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time, unless I can't find anything cute to wear. Preggo problems lol
Looking forward to: We finally go the crib ordered, so I can' wait for that to get here! I also can't wait for little man's bedding to be finished & for all my baby showers :)) SO much to look forward too!

24 Weeks

(I'm 1 week behind with this post, what else is new?! lol)

SIX MONTHS!! What?! I can hardly believe that we get to meet our little man in just 3 months :) We are beyond excited! I had a Dr.'s appointment on September 5th, I go every six weeks right now, so I am always anxious when I go. I just always want everything to be okay. Even though I feel him move all day & night (which I absolutely love & is reassuring), every time I go to the Dr. I can't wait to hear his heartbeat. I had an almost 40 minute wait at Kaiser, but it was well worth it! I got to hear our little man's heartbeat & hear the Dr say "he's one healthy baby" & "you're the healthiest patient I've seen today". That was definitely music to this Momma's ears :)

24 Weeks:

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I have gained 21 lbs so far. I weighed 108 before I got pregnant & I weighed 129 at my appointment. I have never weighed that much in my life! I asked the Dr. if that was good or bad & her response was; "With what you weighed before you got pregnant, you are right on track. You are the healthiest patient I've seen today." Definitely made me feel good! :)
Maternity clothes? Still anxious for cooler weather & leggings lol
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep:  Love it.
Best moment: Feeling our "little man" move all day!
Have you told family and friends: Yes.
Miss Anything? Hm... can't think of anything in particular.
Movement: All day, I absolutely love it :)
Food cravings:  Um, not any lately.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still only when I wait too long to eat.
Have you started to show yet: Definitely gone from chunk to bump in the last few weeks.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? In... it's starting to look a little shallow though lol
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy Momma :)
Looking forward to: Meeting our little man in 3 months!!

730 of the greatest days...

August 28, 2012, marked day 730 of the greatest two years of my life.

Two years later & we are more in love than ever. I can hardly believe that amazing day was two years ago. Our journey has been quite an amazing one... from saying "yes" to becoming Jordan's girlfriend, to saying "yes" to becoming his wife, to saying "I do" on our wedding day... every day in between & every memory we've made, have only made me love him more. Being married to my best friend is a gift I will forever be grateful to God for. When I think of our wedding day, I often think of the song that was sang during our ceremony, called "When God Made You". When God made Jordan, I know He was thinking about me, He knew everything I would need & He made all my dreams come true. I look forward to all God has planned for our future, especially the part of our journey we are about to start... parenthood! I have no doubt that Jordan will be an amazing Dad, because he is such an amazing husband.

Jordan, each day I truly only love you more than the last. You are my person. You are the one I want to tell everything to, the first face I want to see when I wake up & the last face I want to see before I go to sleep. You are the only one who can always make me feel better, no matter what. You will never know how grateful I am for your love, your friendship, your support & your hand to hold. I am so excited about the next chapter of our lives we are about to experience... being parents! Here's to growing old & gray together, sitting in rocking chairs on a front porch somewhere out in the country ;) Couldn't imagine anything better.

Love,
Jenna

"I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I've ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours."

Nursery Update!

My wonderful Auntie Jan emailed me some pictures of what she has made so far & I am BEYOND excited to see it all in the little man's nursery!

23 Weeks

Week 23 was a busy one! We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary, with a trip away to the city! It was so nice to get away... just the 2 of us... especially because it will probably be one of the last times we do that! :) We drove into Walnut Creek on Friday the 24th & stayed in a beautiful hotel, that Jordan had stayed at before for work. We went to a SF Giants game on Saturday & spent some time in the city that evening & came home on Sunday. It was a great weekend away together...

Nursery Progress :)

I was so so so excited to go shopping for the fabric for little man's bedding! I knew it would give us a kick in the butt to pick out paint colors & really get started on the nursery. We went shopping with my Auntie Jan (my Mom's lifelong best friend, who so graciously offered to make all of our little guys bedding) this past Saturday. Jordan came with us long enough to help pick out the fabrics, I was happy he was even willing to do that, I definitely wanted his opinion & was glad that he came :) When he left the fabric store, he was inspired to start prepping the room for paint, when he called & told me that, I thought it was the cutest thing! I was honestly surprised at how fast we picked out the fabrics. I am horrible at making decisions, but it all came together! After fabric shopping... Me, my Mom, my "T", my sister, my cousin Annie & my Auntie Jan all went out to lunch, it was such a fun day :)

Here is a little preview of our little man's room & the progress we've made so far... I found my inspiration for the room on Pinterest, of course ;)
This was our nursery inspiration, courtesy of Pinterest :)
Here is Daddy taping off the room.
Love him to pieces. It warmed my heart to see him working on our little babes room :)
This is a little collage of the room so far :)
This is a collage of the fabric for our custom made bedding :) Can't wait to see it all come together!

All of these pictures are off my phone, so they aren't the best & don't have the best lighting. I did take some with my actual camera that I will post when the nursery is all done :)

My latest craving.
My wonderful hubs put in a 2nd shelf above our washer & dryer. Do to the fact that I am almost 6 months pregnant, it is getting much harder for me to climb on top of them to get stuff down from the top shelf lol

Those were just a few pics from week 20. I didn't take a picture of my belly this week, it honestly still looks like it did in my 20 week picture. I promise I will take one for this week:)
